I feel like it's been forever since I did a round up of what I've been wearing. The seasons have definitely transitioned!  Goodbye are the days of short sleeves and sandals! Hello sweaters and ankle boots!

This post contains some gifted items and commissioned links.

You probably see I share a lot of Shein items. They are one of the companies I work with on a regular basis. People ask me about it since their clothes are so affordable. I enjoy what I get from them. I just always read the reviews and measurements carefully before I chose items so I can make sure it will work for me. You can use code Q4BYBMGBLOG to get 15% off their entire site.

I'm BACK with another Wearing Lately post. I feel like every months to two months is a good frequency for these posts.

It was interesting looking back on what I actually wore these past two months. Now, this isn't every single outfit because you don't want to look at 61 outfits, and I didn't document my outfit every one of those days either. BUT, I did notice a couple themes: black, lots of black, some pops or pink, some blue, a few neutrals, and not much more.

We have just a few weeks left of the school year, then I'm in full-on summer mode. It may be a good time in the next few weeks for me to take a good look at my closet and pair it down. I have cleaned out quite a bit lately, but I think I could do more.

Also, I am not going to link every piece I share for the sake of time and because some of the things are old, but I will link some things that I think you would like. The links I do include are affiliate or referral links, meaning I make a small commission or shop credit if you make a purchase through them at no added cost to you.

Here's the start of the black theme! I wore a black LuLaRoe Amelia along with a LuLaRoe Sarah Cardigan. I haven't been wearing my LuLaRoe pieces as much, but the Amelia Dress is really a classic piece. I added tights and ankle booties and some basic jewelry.

I was thinking about this blog as a whole the other day and just reflecting on where I started and where I am now. Blogging is not a full time gig for me, and some days I just want to get back to the simplistic roots I had when I started this blog almost 6 years ago! Over the past 6 years I have written over 300 fashion related posts, and over 1000 posts total. That's kind of crazy! Today I wanted to bring it back to my roots and do a What I Wore Wednesday round up. I used to do this every week, and I think I need to bring it back. Probably not every week, but more often for sure. So, here is a round up of some outfits I've worn from the new year until now. Hopefully this will give you a little inspiration!

I wore this outfit because a very similar version of it made my Top 9 for 2018 on Instagram. I love the coziness of it!

Sweater: Old Navy (similar)
Skirt: LuLaRoe Cassie (Shop with Amanda or Cassy to get yours)
Leggings: LuLaRoe
Boots: Steve Madden (similar)

It's been a while since I've shared what I wear on a day to day basis! Today I'm rounding up some of what I've been wearing lately and links to similar pieces so you can get some closet inspiration! Ya'll know I'm not afraid to wear a dress! I love them. They're comfortable to me and they are an outfit so you really don't have to add much to it besides a necklace if you don't want to!  Stephanie put out a challenge called Dresstember where we were challenged to wear a dress or skirt at least 10 days in the month of September, so today I'm sharing the dresses I wore last month!
Maybe you have noticed, maybe you haven't, but I've kind of killed off the weekly post of what I've been wearing. I can't give a definite reason why. Sometimes there were scheduling conflicts. Sometimes I wondered if just seeing one glance at an outfit was enough, so I'm coming back today with a highlight reel of some of my fave outfits I've been wearing.  I post these almost daily on Instagram. The last time I did a WIWW was in July! Today's includes mostly clothes I've been wearing to school and a whole lot of LuLaRoe, A Pretty Pear earrings, and Blossom Bangles!

I actually forgot about this dress until I got it out for Mexico. I won it from a giveaway a few years ago and it's been unable to fit or unable to be worn because of babies.

Dress: Michael Kors
Sandals: Etsy
Necklace: old
Earrings: A Pretty Pear
Bangles: Blossom Bangles

I've taking a little hiatus from What I Wore Wednesday the past few weeks. Today I'm back with a round up of what I've been wearing. I don't post what I wear on Instagram every single day because some days it's just athletic shorts and a tee, but I do try to make an attempt to get dressed a few times a week.

My Target glitter sandals and my distressed denim have been getting a work out!

Here's what I wore on a date night with Russ before we left for Mexico.  I have to laugh a little because this is so close to what I wore our for our anniversary! I wore the olive tee, and a striped skirt (just in a different style). I guess if you like it, wear it, right?

Tee: Old Navy
Necklace: Noonday
Skirt: LuLaRoe
Bangles: Blossom Bangles
Clutch: DIY
Wedges: Target

Happy Wednesday! I'm loving summer, and especially loving my new Gap rompers that I wore on Friday and Monday! They're like pajamas, but I can wear them out of the house and look somewhat put together. Just like a dress, they're easy and cozy, but you don't have to worry about the wind blowing your skirt!

We headed to a nearby berry farm last week to do a little picking. The strawberries were pretty much all gone, but the raspberries were in full force. I wanted to get one last wear out of this fun top from Le Tote before I sent it back. I know this top was so me, but I have done a little too much shopping lately (in preparation for our trip), so I decided to send this back.

Happy Wednesday! I don't have a full multi-picture outfit post for you today, but I do have one look that is not in flat lay form, so you can actually see my face! Summer is in full swing here and I'm loving it! First off, what I wore for our anniversary dinner.

Necklace: Knot Just Bracelets
Tee: Old Navy
Clutch: Le Tote
Bangles: Blossom Bangles
Wedges: Toms

So, I know I said that I was going to wear this for our anniversary dinner, but Russ surprised me with reservations and I wasn't feeling the hot pink for some reason, so I went a different route. I still wore this fabulous skirt made by Monique. Today's the last day to use my coupon code (BYBMG20) in her shop for 20% off your own custom made skirt. I just love trying out knotting a tee. It adds a little flare, don't ya think?

Here's what I wore the rest of the week in flat lay form:

Since being in grad school for the past two years and having a baby a year ago, Russ and I haven't gotten to go out a ton. Now that Calvin is a year and we're DONE with grad school, I'm hoping we can get out more often. This past weekend we grabbed dinner at a local place, then headed over to a friend's house for a back yard party. The weather was gorgeous! Here's what I wore:

Seems like y'all were ok with a feature look and then a round up of the rest of my looks last week, so I'm back at it this week! Today I'm sharing a simple look with a black maxi dress and an olive utility jacket!

Happy Wednesday! I am switching it up a little bit because 3 years of What I Wore Wednesdays will do that to you! I am going to try out featuring one outfit in detail and then sharing the rest like I have been in flat lay form.  You'll have to let me know what you think.

Happy Wednesday!  This week's weather has been crazy overall. We've had snow, we've had rain, we've had sunshine. I'm just ready for it to be fully spring heading into summer so I can store away the colder weather clothes for good!

Well, spring break was great, and being in cozy clothes was wonderful, but I'm back to work. Here are some looks from the end of break and this week. Graphic sweatshirts are a fave, obviously, as are polka dots and floral. This week I also got a couple shots of me wearing the outfits in addition to their flat lays!

Now that my 20 items in 21 days challenge is over, I'm pumped to be back in my closet.

I'm going to try something new today. Since many of my items aren't currently in stores, I don't have a lot of items to link up in outfit descriptions. I'm still going to tell you where things are from, but I'm trying out a little widget at the bottom with at least one similar item from each outfit that I think you might like. I rarely spend a ton on my clothes... so I'm going to find similarly priced items to share with you. Let me know what you think. They are affiliate links in the widget so I do get a small commission if you click through and/or make a purchase.

{Monday}

I was super excited to try out this swing dress! Since I'm done nursing, more dresses will probably make their way back into my wardrobe.

Necklace - Noonday
Cardigan - Target
Dress - Cents of Style
Leggings - LuLaRoe
Boots - Steve Madden
