We've definitely had some spring weather here, which makes getting dressed more fun because I don't have to tug on tights!  I'm also soaking up dresses in these last few weeks of pregnancy since they'll be retired for a while after baby because I'll be nursing. We can say that LuLaRoe's Irma Top is probably my favorite pieces these days since I wore one four days this week. But, they fit, and at this point, that's what's important. #35weekspregnant.

Wednesday:

Dress: LuLaRoe
Flats: Lucky

April is here!  We could totally have a baby at the end of the month. How crazy is that?? Looking at my Thursday outfit, I feel like a blimp, but, ah, such is the pregnant life! I feel like it's hard to see how much belly I have from most of these shots! I've included a belly shot on Monday just so you can truly see where we're at!

Cardigan: Target
Tee: Gap Maternity
Pants: Gap Maternity
Booties: Toms via Zulily

Welcome back for another week of What I Wore Wednesday! This week has been an adventure with our move and finding a place in the new house to take outfit shots. The first pic below was definitely not the right place (poor lighting... ick)! There isn't really any place in the new house I've found yet that is wide-open wall with great light like at the old place, so I ended up in front of my new purple couch, and I think that's where I'll stay for a while. Some instagram friends joked that my location changes were like a mini house tour!  I promise I will give you a more full house tour once we get things up on the walls.

Thursday:

Top: LuLaRoe
Jeans: Gap Maternity
Shoes: Target

One outfit. That's all I have for ya today!  With moving, stuff's been nuts!  The outfit I posted about yesterday was from last week, too!  If you missed it, head over and check it out AND enter to win a cute pair of boot socks!  Happy Wednesday!!

Tee: LuLaRoe

Thursday:

Scarf: Forever 21

Pants: Old Navy Maternity
Boots: Clarks (gift)
Wednesday again! How can it be? I looked at the weather forecast, and it looks like next week will be in the 50*s!  Yay!  Hopefully I can change up my wardrobe accordingly, though looking through this week's looks, most could be acceptable for 50*s... possibly. :)

Wednesday:

Scarf: eBay
Cardigan: Old Navy
Bracelet Lisa Leonard Designs
Dress: LuLaRoe
Boots: Clarks (gift)
(I ended up adding leggings... brrr)

I had kind of a long week last week, but things are looking up!  Hence some selfie-outfit images. I've also decided to cut back a smidge and not document every. single. outfit. every. single. week.  I usually do all my outfit shots on Saturday or Sunday during nap time, but the changing in and out of 5 outfits is getting a little exhausting to my 29-week pregnant self. So, you may see more selfies if I feel the need or some days where there aren't outfits shown. I know you wonderful readers can understand because you're the best!

Wednesday:

Scarf: Chinatown
Tunic: Old Navy Maternity
Pants: (though you cannot see them) were black maternity skinnies from Old Navy via Thred Up (Use my referral link for $10 off your first order.)
Boots:  Steve Madden

I just have a couple outfits for you this week.  Saturday, when I usually take my outfit pictures, a much-needed nap trumped shooting my outfits. This week is conference week at school, which means two 12-hour days, which also means heading into the week rested was very important!

Wednesday

Scarf: Forever 21
Tunic: daily deal site (I can't remember which)
Leggings: LuLaRoe
Boots: Clarks (gift)

Scarves seem to be the thing again this week, but it's Iowa, they're needed!

Wednesday:

Scarf: H&M
Top: LuLaRoe
Bracelet: Lisa Leonard Designs
Pants: thrifted Motherhood Maternity
Shoes: thrifted BCBG

Back at it for another week!  We got a FOOT of snow here over the weekend, crazy! I'll admit I'm getting a little sick of my clothes... and I still have 14ish weeks left of this pregnancy!  Trying, really trying, not to buy anything new that's maternity, but it's hard. I'd really like a new pair of pants.  I am getting to the point where I really prefer the full panel pants, but I have like three pairs of those; the rest are the shorter below belly panel, and in all honesty they're getting uncomfortable.  I guess if I can snag a pair on sale I might break down and buy them.  It's important to be comfortable, right?

Wednesday:

Cardigan: Target
Belt: old
Dress: LulaRoe
Tights: NY & Co
Booties:  Amazon

Things around her have been a little busy with the house stuff and illness, so I really didn't get time to take outfit shots last week. That's not an apology but more just a statement of fact if you're wondering why I have so few to share!  Back on track this week!  I think I mentioned before that I packed up part of my closet in the house staging process. Well, it's still hanging out in the garage somewhere, but I realize I still have enough to wear. You may just see a few tops more frequently.  It's good for me and challenges my creativity!  Hope you're having a wonderful week!

See Saturday's look here.

Sunday:

Cardigan: Old Navy
Top: Liz Lange Maternity
Skinnies: Old Navy Maternity
Flats: Target
Lessons in Fashion:
a sporadic series where I share little tips with you that help make my wardrobe stretch.

Today's Lesson:

Maternity Wardrobe Basics
I had a friend who was changing jobs recently (from scrubs to needing business casual) comment that she just wished she had a wardrobe in a bag that she could buy. It got me thinking about starting over with a wardrobe and the conundrum many women face when they are first pregnant and have to seek out maternity clothes.  It's basically like starting your closet from zero again. Sure, you can make a lot of things stretch, but the way your body changes, that won't get you through.  If you've been around here long, you know I don't like to spend a ton of money on clothes. I've had women ask me where to buy maternity clothes, and I usually end up replying, "Old Navy, Gap (sale rack), or Target."  So, today I wanted to share with you the basics I would buy if I had to start my maternity wardrobe all over again.

I admit that I enjoy dressing up for work, but I love weekend coziness just as much.  Today I wanted to share how you'll typically find me on a Saturday along with my new, fabulous glasses from Firmoo.

You've seen this Hello Apparel sweatshirt a few times, and you're probably like, enough already, but it's so cozy and I can wear it even with the baby belly.  I stuck a long black tank underneath, and threw on my cozy Gap Maternity legging jeans.

This week I'm sharing the last half of #scarfweek!  It was so fun!  Thanks for those of you who played along for a day or the whole week! Check out the hashtag on instagram to see all the great looks. If you want to see my first half of the week, head to last week's post.

Wednesday:

 Thursday:

Well, break is over, and I'm back to work.  I have to admit getting dressed up is fun!  I did take about 1/3 of the clothes in my closet out to store in tubs so my closet looks bigger (house staging), but I still have plenty to wear!

Thursday (day)

Top: LuLaRoe
Cardigan: Target
Jeans: thrifted Old Navy Maternity
