Happy Friday, Friends! If you're new here, check out some of my favorite posts down the right side along with my social media links. I'd love to connect with you!  Each Friday I link up with High Five for Friday and share the highlights of my week.

1.  Sunday before church, the boys were playing and Russ broke out the DSLR. We got some cute pics of the boys. I may be biased, but they're adorable!

It's a weird feeling hitting one of those milestones where people potentially could decorate with black balloons. I never really set goals about what I wanted to accomplish by age 30, but looking around at my life now, I'd say I've done pretty well for the little girls dreams I had.

Thanks for stopping by! If you're new, take a look to your right and connect with me. I post many of my outfits on Instagram during the week, but post the details of each piece here on Wednesdays. Linking up with The Pleated Poppy.

If you read my Thrifty Finds post earlier this week, you probably already know how excited I am about this dress!  This outfit was Pinterest inspired. I love my brown boots and knew I could combine them with this dress.

I was able to hop over to our local Goodwill a couple times in the past month. I probably spent 1.5 hours there total between my two trips and came out with some great stuff!
I honestly don't know how people buy multiple containers of baby cereal. We barely went through one with Henry and this time around with Wesley, he's maybe had it straight up two times and the rest were mixed with veggies or fruits. He's recently become Mr. Independent and will not be fed by a spoon, so everything we feed him has to be finger food. I still had half a container of rice cereal in the cupboard.

I've had this recipe for teething biscuits hanging out on one of my Pinterest boards for a while. I remembered that it's meant for using up baby cereal, so I gave it a whirl.

I really only made one change to the recipe from the one from my pin. It called for 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, but we don't have that around our house much, so I subbed butter, softened almost to runny. The reason I used 3 tablespoons instead of 2 was out of pure laziness. I had 3 left in the fridge, and I didn't feel like cutting it.

1 cup flour
1 cup dry infant rice cereal
1 ripe medium mashed banana
2 tsp cinnamon
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons water

Her recipe also said you could try 1/3 cup sweet potato or carrot. I have one jar of stage 3 sweet potato left, so I think I will try that next time.

The wonderful friends over at BzzAgent sent me a full-size Tone Petal Soft body wash to try out for free. I'm usually not much for really floral body washes; I usually prefer citrus or coconut scents, but I was pleasantly surprised by sent of this one.

Today I thought I would try Five Minute Friday with Lisa Jo Baker. So, here goes. The prompt is small. I sent my timer for 5 minutes and wrote - minus the distraction of Firefox quitting on me mid timer. :)

-----------------------------------------------

It's always funny to me how small is just a comparison. Henry always seemed so small until Wesley came along. Now he seems like a giant. I remember bringing Henry home from the hospital, feeling like he was so TINY at 6lbs. 12. oz. Then I truly learned what TINY was when Wesley was a whopping 5lbs. 10 oz. at birth. And yet other babies are born smaller and fit into a single hand. It's all a comparison

Small. Some days I feel so small in this world - just one of billions - but other days not. My pants size. The number on the scale.

Our house. It can feel so small. Three bedrooms. One bathroom. I've talked about it before. You're probably sick of hearing about it. But then I think about people who have a house with just one bedroom. Multiple people sleeping in one bed. Dirt floors. I feel lucky.

Small. Comparison.
Each week I link up to share my highlights with High Five for Friday. If you're new here, feel free to connect with me. I'm probably most social on Instagram.

1. Is it crazy that I'd never stepped foot in World Market until this past weekend? Seriously that store is awesome. I could look there forever! We came out with a rug and a couple sodas (almost a chair, too, but we stalled), but I plan to go back soon to look for some home decor.

I've been doing What I Wore Wednesday for a year now. It all began last year on this date! It was so fun to look back through my outfits and see how things have changed throughout the year. Here are some of my favorite outfits!

First of all, when I started documenting my outfits I was pregnant! Oh, some days I miss dressing my big belly!

This is what I wore out to eat to celebrate Valentine's day with the hubby. We went to a Chinese restaurant to relive the night we met 10 years ago.

Every once in a while, I share some of what I'm loving from Etsy.  Here's another round with some really great things, some of which are from people I follow on Instagram.

How many of you have a BAZILLION pins on Pinterest but rarely go back to look at them?

*crickets*

Yeah, me either....

Not.

I have almost 3,000 pins. Yikes.

Ten years ago today, my life changed.

I woke up in my college dorm room to a rommate's crazy guy friend greeting me with a card, paper flower, and Pop Tarts cut out in the shape of hearts. My roommate knew I was lonely and did the best to help. Valentines day isn't the most fun as a single college girl.

Happy Valentine's Day! Here are some highlights from my week. Linking up with High Five for Friday.

1. We went to a local furniture store looking for an accent/reading chair. Nothing is really in our budget right now, but it was fun to look. Henry stayed in this stroller for about 1 minute. Wesley loved it. He played with the steering wheel and just looked around the whole time.  Also, he's wearing the adorable new sweater and hat from Baby Gap's Paddington Bear collection
It's the week of Valentine's Day, so I thought I'd share a little bit about my hubby and me.

Russ, and I are both teachers. We married after I graduated college, and right before I started my first teaching job. He'd graduated a year earlier than me from the same college with a Communications degree, but decided he wanted to teach. So, for our first two years of marriage, I worked, and he went back to school to get his degree.

Happy Wednesday! If you're new here, I'd love to connect with you. Check out my social media links to the right! Every week, I link up with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday.

You know when you go to the store with a mental list and come home with half the stuff you needed and many things you don't?

Me neither... not.

The other day, my deodorant was running scarcely low. I went to the store with the mental list, and came home without deodorant. The awesome thing is that the Dove Vox Box from Influenster was waiting at my door step! In it was a full-sized stick of Dove Advanced Care for me to try for free.

I've been using it for about a week now, and I'm very pleased. Sometimes deodorant scents really bother me. I'm pretty picky when choosing a one -  you know...the crazy lazy in the deodorant aisle smelling all the different ones. The scent of the deodorant is a little floral, and at first I was worried it would bother me, but it's light enough that it doesn't.

It's not the heat of the summer or anything, but it does its job with the dryness factor as well, currently. I'd love to test it again mid-July when the heat is really on.  Also, it doesn't leave white on my clothes. The hashtag for this Influenster campaign is #raiseyourarms. I'm sure none of you would really like to see my arm pits, so you'll just have to trust me.  It's good. Also, there was a coupon for it in this past week's Sunday paper. Go get yourself some Dove Advanced Care!

Like I said yesterday, we made two valentines this year since Henry has preschool and daycare. Today I'll share the ones I made for daycare. They are a little pricier than yesterdays, but for just four kiddos and being from both boys, I splurged (if you want to call $1.50/valentine a splurge).

Since Henry is in preschool and daycare, I made two different valentines for this year. Today I'm going to share the one we made for preschool. Tomorrow, come back, and I'll share the one for daycare.

Another week has passed and it's FRIDAY!  Linking up with High Five For Friday.

If you're new here, take a look to your right and connect with me! There *might* be an Instagram giveaway this weekend. *hint hint*

1) Last Friday was Henry's 4th birthday! When he was a baby, I took a photo of him with this giraffe each month. Now, it's yearly.

My most recent BzzAgent campaign is testing out Fiber One Meal Bars. They sent me two full boxes of them for free! I was very pleased with the flavor choices I received - Chocolate Peanut Butter and Strawberry Greek Yogurt.

It's been a great week. It's still cold, and we've gotten some snow, but dressing cheerfully helps my spirits!

Today celebrates one year of blogging here at bybmg. I had a fun time looking back at some of my favorite posts this year. If you're new(er) here, you might want to check out some of the things I've written about over the past year.

I listed some new felt envelopes in the shop this weekend. They make for great gifts for the kiddo in your life to play. They would also make beautiful packaging for small gifts.
