It's always a happy mail day when my Ipsy bag arrives!  This month's bag was another great one. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription in which you receive a cute zipper pouch along with five beauty samples. It costs just $10 a month.

I think this may be my favorite actual bag ever. I love the pattern and texture of it. So fun! The contents, besides one item, were fabulous, too.  Here's what I got!
It's the last Monday of the month, which means I'm linking up with Andrea about my Favorite Things!  Each month, there's a new topic (all the topics can be found here).  This month, it's favorite accessory!

Now, if we were headed into fall, I would probably say a scarf, but now that spring is here, and summer is on the horizon, I'd have to say a Our World Boutique's Stranded Statement Necklace is my favorite.  I own two of them, and honestly, I've pondered how many colors it would be acceptable for me to have. I have ordered more of them than the black and pink that I have, but I gave them away as gifts! It's just a classic necklace that can be worn casually or dressed up. I always get so many compliments when I wear it! It's definitely the necklace I think everyone should own.

PS This isn't a sponsored post nor does it have any referral links. I just LOVE this necklace!

Here we are again. It's Friday!  Yay! Hope you had a great week!

The boys got our little man's shelf all put together. I just sent out a wooden storage crate to be painted by a professional, so once we get that back, I can give you a full room tour!

Happy Wednesday! My 36/37 week pregnant self is back for another What I Wore! Enjoy!

Tuesday: (can we note, I'm 36 weeks preggo in this outfit and not wearing any maternity pieces! Stretchy clothes for the win!)

Necklace: Lia Sophia
Top: LuLaRoe
Bracelet: Lisa Leonard Designs
Skirt: Old Navy
Sandals: Saltwaters

When planning Wesley's 2nd birthday, I debated between two themes, Mickey and Elmo. He loves both characters, but Elmo won out. I found a cute customize-able invitation on Etsy and ordered it up.

So far, I've made the boys' cake/cupcakes for each birthday.  Sometimes it's been simple, other times more complicated. I was feeling simple this time around, so I found some cute Elmo cupcake toppers on Amazon and then dipped the other cupcakes in multi-colored sprinkles.  I pondered doing the whole red frosting and Oreo cookie Elmo, but if you've ever made homemade frosting before, you know that getting frosting truly red is no easy feat. I used this recipe for the cupcakes along with Wilton's traditional butter cream frosting.  I possibly ate half the cupcakes myself. Sorry. Not Sorry.

We've definitely had some spring weather here, which makes getting dressed more fun because I don't have to tug on tights!  I'm also soaking up dresses in these last few weeks of pregnancy since they'll be retired for a while after baby because I'll be nursing. We can say that LuLaRoe's Irma Top is probably my favorite pieces these days since I wore one four days this week. But, they fit, and at this point, that's what's important. #35weekspregnant.

Wednesday:

Dress: LuLaRoe
Flats: Lucky

Ya never know when you'll go into labor. Once I hit the 30ish week mark, making sure my hospital bag is ready has been a top priority. Henry was born at 39 weeks, and Wesley was born at 38 weeks.  I'm 35 weeks today, so it's getting real! This weekend I finished it up (besides snacks), so we're ready!

First off, I talked back in my Target Favorites post about a cute bag I was eying!  I ended up with this one. Still polka dots, but just a slightly different style since the one I'd originally posted about went out of stock. It's the perfect size for all I'm taking.
Easter just kind of snuck up on me, but I was able to do a little shopping for the boys' baskets at Marshall's one day and finished up with a couple things on my Target run the day before Easter with Henry in tow.  I feel like I went somewhat light on the basket this year, but they have so. much. stuff. And, Wesley's birthday is right around the corner!

I got their bags last year from Pick Your Plum.  I love that they can be folded up for easy storage, hold a bunch, and would even be great to take on an egg hunt.  Pick Your Plum had them again this year, so I snagged one with baby #3's name (We have one picked out!). All ready for next year!

Friday!  Yay!  I'm looking forward to this wonderful Easter weekend with my boys. What about you?

We went to an Iowa Energy game on Sunday afternoon. It was one of those glorious events that fell at the perfect time of day. The game began at 4, so Wes could get his nap in before we went. Russ wasn't feeling well, so I took the boys by myself. We went with a friend of mine, her husband, and her cute little gal. It was so fun. Henry was occupied the whole time. As long as I had snacks a plenty (which I spent way too much money on...), Wes was happy, too.

April is here!  We could totally have a baby at the end of the month. How crazy is that?? Looking at my Thursday outfit, I feel like a blimp, but, ah, such is the pregnant life! I feel like it's hard to see how much belly I have from most of these shots! I've included a belly shot on Monday just so you can truly see where we're at!
