I shared last week about my new sign I made at The Knotty Nail's string art workshop. Well, Becky, the owner, created my LipSense handle to put on the bottom. It's made from wood and is a preview of her new Design-A-Sign workshops! I can't wait to make one!

Spring is trying to arrive, but its still struggling a little bit in Iowa. You can see a few bits of snow that lingered over this past weekend in some of these photos. I'm definitely ready to ditch the winter wardrobe and welcome in the spring weather.

Disclaimer: I got these lashes free to review but all opinions are my own.

Never have I ever, until this last week, worn false eye lashes. I will admit that lately I've been intrigued by them, but they have always scared me. I have always been afraid that I won't put them on correctly or will look silly with them on. My friend, Dawn, is a Brand Ambassador for Red Aspen Lashes and asked if I wanted to try a pair to review for the blog. I jumped at the opportunity!

UPDATE! I loved them so much that I am now an Ambassador! Shop with me here!

My dear friend Kristen made Calvin's Hobbes when he was a baby. Hobbes has been through the ringer (did ya see him in last week's post with the Easter Bunny?). Well, sweet Kristen came over and fixed poor Hobbes this past weekend, which was amazing!

Also, can we also celebrate that Spring Break potty training was a success?! We are a DIAPER FREE household, folks! Eight years in the making!

Since my last fix was a dud, Stitch Fix offered to send me another fix with the styling fee waived. I couldn't say no to free shopping from my home, so I scheduled it to arrive over spring break.

If you aren't familiar with Stitch Fix, you pay a $20 styling fee, then a stylist selects items based on your style profile and any notes you leave with requests for things you'd like.

In my note I said I would like tops to pair with blush pants and that would transition well to spring. I also said I loved floral and lace detail. The funny thing is, my blush pants got ruined last week by something i the wash, so I don't have a pair currently. I tried on most of the items with my olive pants which I think work well with most of what I got and I have a new pair of blush pants on the way from Old Navy. Anyways, here's what I got in my Fix:

We're back for another episode of $10 at Target! Each month blogger friends and I head to the happy place with the red bulls eye and shop with just a $10 budget! It's always fun! First I always start off with what I didn't get...

The boys stayed with Russ's parents over the weekend, so we enjoyed some time together just the two of us as well as many meals out to eat. We tried a new place in town called Gastro Grub, and it was delish!

Today I'm linking up with The Blended Blog for their March Q & A about beauty!

1. Eyelash Curler: I own one, and I've attempted to use it, but I really don't know if it works or makes much of a difference on my lashes. I have heard of people getting a lash lift, and I'm really intrigued. Anyone had one?

Do you still need an idea for a dress for Easter or another spring event? Look no further! I'm sharing the Amazon Prime Guide to Mom's Easter Outfit over on Des Moines Moms Blog!

Last Saturday morning, Russ made his signature crepes.  It's his grandpa's recipe and it's always a fun treat. The boys doused them in chocolate whipped cream.

Sometimes an impulse buy is regretful. Other times it's a staple. Today I wanted to share an impulse buy that I think will become the latter.

My new office space is really coming together! Back in January, I shared that I ordered this desk and also put together a wish list for my new space. I still have a few final touches, but I thought I would share what I have going on so far.

We hit up Trader Joe's last week. It's not a regular stop in our shopping adventures, but we decided it would be fun to to a week of meals from their freezer section. We also had to pick up some snacks, of course, and these letter cookies were gone in just a couple days.

For me, getting a Stitch Fix is a treat. If you aren't familiar with Stitch Fix, you pay a $20 styling fee, then a stylist selects items based on your style profile and any notes you leave with requests for things you'd like. With my birthday coming up, I decided to schedule a fix. In the notes to my stylist, I said I would like a vest (not an olive utility vest since I already have one), floral items, some things that will transition well into spring, and possibly a cobalt blue item for my upcoming trip for SeneGence. Here's what I got:
