Even though we ended the $10 at Target Link Up, I still plan to post my $10 Target finds from time to time. Today I'm sharing a shopping trip I took to Target in early July!

As usual I share first what I didn't buy...


This cute little metal tote was in the dollar spot. I think it was $5. I always go back and forth about buying one of these for entertaining. I didn't buy it this time though.

Russ and I had a totally relaxing time in Mexico. We got home on Sunday night. I'll post a vacation outfit recap next week!


I'm a teacher so I have summers off. I love dressing up in the school year, and it would be easy to take summers off and stick to work out wear every day (though I don't work out). But for me, there's something that just likes to feel pulled together. I don't have to be fancy and you're not going to see me dressed up all the time, but I've found a way to feel pulled together in the summer that make me feel good about what I'm wearing even if I have nowhere to go. It all boils down to one thing.

Summer is all about fun and fun clothes comes right along with it. In the past couple years I've become a lover of Lilly Pulitzer thanks to Tif's influence. I am styling a fun and bright outfit with my Lilly shorts today!

We spent last weekend in Okoboji, Iowa, a lake town, with my parents, my brothers, and our family. 16 people in a one house! It was fun!

I’ve been a little MIA but we have been on some vacations! Before we left the boys were playing in the back yard and found a toad. It was pure comedy!
