Camo and Gold

As I was thinking about outfit ideas for St. Patrick's Day, I was going through my closet and realizing I don't own a ton of true green. Most of the green I own is more olive. But, St. Patrick's Day also seems to have some touches of gold to it, so I though I would combine what I had and give you an idea if you're not one to have a lot of green in your closet either!

I may receive a commission (with no extra cost added to you) if you make a purchase from the links in this post. I received this skirt free in exchange for review. Thanks for supporting the time and love I put into this space. Please see my disclosure for more details.

It was FREEZING the day we took these pictures, and then we got inside and realized there is a house coming out of my head in every single one. Oh, live and learn. We'll know better next time we shoot at this spot.

I used to be totally a silver/white gold gal, but gold has won me over again and I find myself wearing it more and more. I don't know what it is about it, but I often now grab more toward things that are gold and have been neglecting silver. Maybe it's just what the trend is now, or maybe I'm just changing preferences. Gold totally fits in for St. Patrick's Day now.

I'm loving lace details lately, too. Though I just bought a cardigan with side lace details a month ago, when I saw this one while out shopping for my birthday, I knew it would make a great addition to my wardrobe. It's nice and light which will be great for spring and even summer!

What are your St. Patrick's Day plans? Do you own a lot of true green or are you going to have to make olive work for the day?
