Christmas Eve may be my favorite night of the year. Growing up, with my parents being pastors, it was always a busy night, but so magical. I forever remember the Silent Night hymn sung by candlelight at the end of church, and I love carrying on this tradition with my family.


This year, I got a new dress. It's my favorite style, LuLaRoe's Amelia. Last year I wore a mustard version of this dress. It's such a classic cut I don't mind having a line-up of them in my closet.





This gorgeous Urban Gems Stella necklace from my latest Rocksbox has been a hit. It's the perfect statement piece for this time of year, kind of a cross between flowers and snowflakes.

I feel like the necklace plus the texture of the dress does a lot of the work in this outfit. I added a simple crystal bracelet to balance it out.



Adding tights helps make the dress wearable in the winter months. Paired with my trusty black booties, these dark gray No nonsense tights keep me warm. We don't have any snow yet, which is strange for Iowa, but if any appears, this outfit will still work.


No nonsense sent me these tights and some fabulous slip shorts to try out. The control top of the tights keeps me all put together, and the slip shorts help alleviate the cling that can happen between a dress and tights.



Getting dressed up on Christmas Eve is just my favorite. I'm not afraid to throw on a nice dress and add some sparkle. There's so much to celebrate with our Savior's birth!  Blessings to you in this season!
