I'm a little hooked on buffalo plaid. Tif over at Bright on a Budget and I have deemed ourselves the Buffalo Plaid Police and will often alert the other of a new find. Today I wanted to round up the buffalo plaid I have in my closer with some outfit layout ideas for you.

This Old Navy plaid shirt is just classic. It is cozy, yet I was able to dress it up a little by adding a statement necklace from Rocksbox. I wore this outfit to church but I feel like I could wear it a lot of places.

This outfit doesn't look like much, and it's really not, but if you want to feel stylish just hanging out at home or want a super cozy sweatshirt, snag this one from Hello Apparel. It's probably my favorite sweatshirt because it's so comfortable and I just love buffalo plaid that much! Also, if you keep an eye out, you can occasionally get their sweatshirts on sale. Possibly Black Friday?

Adding a touch of buffalo plaid can be fun with basic pieces. Gray jeans, a cozy black tee, and black booties wouldn't be much of an outfit on their own, but adding the pop of plaid with a scarf is perfect. My friend made this scarf, but you can find a similar option here.

I got this vest from Old Navy and I love it. It's more gingham than a typical buffalo plaid, but still fun. It's light weight which is great for not so cold times and for y'all in the south who can't deal with a full on puffer vest! I paired it with some chambray and black jeans, basic staples I feel like a lot of people have in their closet now. Old Navy also has a blue buffalo plaid puffer vest option that is fun if you do want a warmer vest.

If you're not ready to dive head on into the trend, you can always start out with a small piece. This head wrap is from A is for Antler, and though they don't have any listed in their shop right now, I'm sure you could find something similar on Etsy or ask them for a custom order.

Also, if you really want to go crazy, Jamberry has a buffalo plaid nail wrap! It's called Friday Flannel, and you can snag it here!
