Happy Friday! Della at Della Devoted, Katie at Cup of Tea, Tif at Bright on a Budget, and I want to welcome you to High Five for Friday! Each week we share the best parts of the week and hope you'll join us! Remember you can link up your highlights post or up to THREE of your favorite posts from this past week!

{ONE}

We had friends over this weekend for the Iowa vs Iowa State game. I totally neglected to take any pictures, but it was fun and we had some great food!

{TWO}

We did s'more again this week, but have you ever roasted a Starburst? Basically you just take a Starburst and warm it up quickly (5 seconds) over the fire. We spent some time with friends this summer and they introduced us to this. It's yummy!

{THREE}

Russ's grandmother passed away this week. While we mourn her, we also rejoice that we got to spend some amazing time with her this summer when she came to visit and that she is at peace and now with Russ's grandfather in heaven. Her memorial service will be in Arizona in a few weeks and we aren't going to be able to go, but we are just so thankful for the quality time we have spent with her over the years and that our boys got to know her.

{FOUR}

I got to attend a free wine and painting class at Bottles and Bottega this week with some Des Moines Moms Blog friends. I got to bring along my friend Sara. We had a blast and made a fun painting of the Iowa Capitol Building.

{FIVE}

We biked to a local park last night and had an impromptu picnic dinner thanks to Lunchables stored away in the fridge! Russ got a new bike so it was fun to give a test drive and have us all along.

How was your week?

Here's what happened on the blog this week:

We would like to announce that the H54F linkup is expanding to where you can drop links for up to 3 of your posts each week. Of course, you can still drop your link for a Friday 5 post, but we want to make this a platform for our followers to discover a variety of fun new content each week.

Now that we're sharing more posts for the link up, I'll be highlighting three of my favorites that were linked up last week!

Now, it's time to link up your favorite posts of the week!

I love this fall wreath that Loni made!

Sandy had great reminders of things we should clean that we probably don't often do!

Andrea is wearing a beautiful fall dress!
