Affordable Fall Work Wear

Sometimes I feel like people get in the groove that to look good you have to spend a lot of money. I have found that is totally not the case and today I wanted to share this totally affordable work wear outfit that will make you feel like a million bucks!

I may receive a commission (with no extra cost added to you) if you make a purchase from the links in this post. Thanks for supporting the time and love I put into this space. Please see my disclosure for more details.

Top: c/o Shein
Necklace: old
Bracelets: Alex and Ani
Skirt: LuLaRoe Cassie
Bag: thrifted Coach
Flats: Lucky Brand

This outfit just radiates fall, doesn't it? Burgundy, ivory, a little floral and a little cognac with a splash of gold?

Let's talk the details. First off, this top is just $12!  Doesn't look it, does it? It's a great piece from Shein and I love the fit. As always with Shein, make sure you read the piece measurements carefully when you buy. I ordered the top in a medium which is pretty true to size for me.

Next, the skirt. It's a LuLaRoe Cassie skirt that I got from Katie. When people think LuLaRoe they often think all crazy patterns, but LuLaRoe does have some great classic prints and solids, too. The Cassie skirt runs just $35 which is really not much more than what you might pay for a skirt at Target and way less than you'd pay at some of the more high end stores. Cassie is stretchy and I can usually wear a medium or large and I'm about a size 8/10 right now.

The flats are probably one of the best wardrobe purchases I've made. I like the lace up look, but I hate actually lacing up or tying things. These lace ups are elastic so you can just sip them on and they are so comfy! These flats ($40 for various sizes here and $70 here) run anywhere from $40 - $70 depending on where you buy them, but they will be worth every penny and I know you will wear them a ton! I watched and got mine on sale for about $50. Though some may not think $50 is affordable for shoes, I'm an advocate for investing in shoes that feel good on your feet because a bad blister can ruin your day!

I've had great luck finding name brand purses on sites like Poshmark and Thred Up as well as shopping the outlets, too. I've had this bag for a while, but I didn't spend a ton on it.

And last, the jewelry. The shop I got this necklace from went out of business, but I own it in quite a few colors and wear it a lot. Purple Peridot has some similar to mine for about $25. Pick a color you wear a lot and I know you won't regret it.

Are you excited for fall? What colors are you drawn to for the season? Do you have any affordable work wear shops I should know about?
