This past weekend we had our yearly trip to cabins in southern Iowa with friends! It's an adults-only weekend and we've been going with the same friends for 9 years! It was so fun and the weather was almost fallish! 

I went in to school a little bit this week, too. More to just unpack boxes since I had to move classrooms than anything. Calvin and Henry came along (Wesley was at preschool). Calvin is totally entertained by my white board though he did come out with a couple marker marks on his head! I start back to work this coming Wednesday.

Probably the biggest news of the week is that I got a new tattoo! I also finished my old one. The new one is a compass with the beginning of Jeremiah 29:11 on it. That was one of the verses we had read at our wedding and it is one that always sticks with me. There have been some big times of waiting in my life and it is always comforting to know that God has plans and they are good. They may not always be my plans, but they will work for good in the end. I got it on my right upper forearm.
