Fall Vibes in a Summer Outfit and Shein Review

Raise your hand if you're excited for fall! Though I love summer and the freedom it brings, we've had some tastes of fall weather here lately in Iowa and I'm loving it. I also have quite the love for pumpkin things, so that makes me wish for fall too. I even made pumpkin muffins this week! Today I'm sharing a casual summer outfit that definitely makes me feel like fall!

I may receive a commission (with no extra cost added to you) if you make a purchase from the links in this post. Thanks for supporting the time and love I put into this space. Please see my disclosure for more details.

Top: Shein
Necklace: old
Sandals: Target (similar, similar)
Bag: Old Navy
Bracelets: Alex and Ani

This outfit totally makes me feel fall-ish but it was perfect for a summer girls night out to dinner with. The colors in this top are gorgeous and the cut is cute! I went with my favorite jean shorts, sandals, and some easy accessories for not much fuss.

I finally placed an order on Shein earlier this summer. I'd seen many bloggers post about items they'd gotten there and so I shopped around on the site and found some things. This top was one of them as well as a swim cover up I wore in Mexico. I also got a couple other tops pictured below:

All in all I was really pleased with my purchases. I also got this tee as well, but it was just a little too poofy for my frame. I think if the gingham fabric were jersey instead of cotton I would have worn it out of the house.

A couple tips for shopping Shein are 1) check the measurements and 2) be patient with shipping. Each piece has listed the measurements of the item for each size and that was very helpful for me as I shopped. I needed a large in the light pink top and a medium in the other pieces.

The floral top I'm wearing in this outfit is actually one-size, so I had to read the measurements to make sure it worked for me. The prices are great and you can get discounts on your purchase with different codes. I know some people get concerned that when the prices are low, the quality will be low as well, but I have been pleased with the quality of these pieces! They fit well and the fabric feels really nice.

The only drawback is that shipping can take a while since some things come from overseas. There are rush shipping options but they will obviously cost you more. My goal when shopping for these pieces was to find tops that I could wear to work and I totally found things that will be great. They are all short sleeved and will look great with a cardigan or a jacket as it gets cooler too. So, if you're on the fence, I say totally give Shein a try!

Have you shopped from Shein? What are your thoughts?
