Having a fresh pair of shoes (or eight) is always a good kick start to your wardrobe. Shoes typically always fit, they can be worn multiple times a week without question, and they just add a little to your outfit. Today I'm coming at you with eight budget-friendly pairs of shoes all from Target that will add some great versatility and character to your wardrobe this spring.

Mossimo Supply Co. slide sandals
These slides are so, so cute. They would spice up the simplest of outfit. Think of wearing them with even a basic tee and shorts or a midi skirt.


Slip on sneaker
These sneakers would go with just about anything. They also come in black and olive, but I'm partial to blush for spring.


Wedge espadrille
Though I have these listed as a date night shoe, if you're into wedges for the day to day, they would be so versatile. They would go with black or brown or your favorite pair of jeans!


Merona wellies boots
We definitely still have some spring rain coming our way around here, and who doesn't love a fun pair of rain boots. If I didn't already have a polka dot pair, these would be my pick. April showers bring May flowers!


A2 by Aerosoles wedge shoes
I have a pair of chambray flat sandals, and we all know how versatile chambray can be. These would go with just about anything and would be adorable for a summer concert!


Mossimo sandals
I could not even express how happy I was to see that Target brought these back again this year. I have one pair and have worn them about to death, so I ordered up another pair. They are so cute and just add a little to the everyday outfit.


Journee Collection polka dot shoes
You'd better know by now that I adore polka dots. These would add a pop to any basic outfit be it a skirt or a pair of colored skinnies!


Muk Luks floral-print shoes
If you like basic Birkenstocks but don't have the cash to splurge on a new pair this year, these are a fun alternative. I love the color options!


And you know what the best thing is, Target has a SALE this week! Buy one pair of shoes, get the second 50% off! I think that's a pretty good excuse to shop, don't you?
