Pattern mixing is one of my favorite things to do! It's a little wacky, but I feel like I've learned to make it happen without going too crazy. Today with the How I Style It gals, I'm sharing one of my favorite floral items mixing in some pattern, of course!

This skirt is one of my favorites ever. The floral is just so pretty and it contains some of my favorite colors, navy, mustard, and pink!

I've come to realize that with my figure, when wearing a pencil skirt I have to tuck the top into the waist most of the time. At first I was a little self conscious about this, but it really does give a better look, especially with not-so-form-fitting tops. I did add a jean jacket over top because this is a sleeveless top and our weather isn't quite sleeveless weather yet.

Because of the fun pattern mix, I decided to take it easy on the accessories. I'm wearing a simple gold necklace with my boys' initials, then I added a classic watch a a bracelet that touches on the Tiffany blue in the skirt. I'm still loving this JORD wood watch. Make sure you check my Instagram on Friday for a little giveaway!

Jean Jacket: Old Navy
Top: Gap
Necklace: gift
Skirt: LuLaRoe
Watch: c/o JORD
Bracelet: Groop Dealz
Sandals: American Eagle

All of my pieces are old, but I found some similar ones that you could totally use to recreate this look. Everything is under $30!

What do you think?
