Each month this year, I'm sharing my goals along with a recap of how the previous month's goals. went. Setting monthly goals helps me stay on track and feel a sense of accomplishment.  Posting them here holds me a little more accountable.

All-in-all I feel like I did a pretty good job with my April goals. Here's a full report:


 1. Reduce my jewelry by half. - I didn't officially count, and I did purchase a couple new things, but I did sell a couple big lots of jewelry on Poshmark and to a couple friends, so I feel like I accomplished this. 

 2. Organize my bathroom drawers and under the sink. - I totally did this, and I feel so much better about it.  Here's a little before and after:

4. Read a book (and finish The Girl on the Train). - I finished The Girl on the Train, but I didn't finish another book. I feel like every month I am a reading failure. I partially blame it on not finding a book I really am into.

5. Fix my distressed jeans. - I was no able to salvage the jeans... the rip was too close to the pocket and it was getting to be a much larger project than it was worth. So, what did I do instead, I bought these.


May Goals:

 1. Go to yoga once a week. 

 2. Clean up my closet. - It really has become a throw zone. It's awful. 

 3. Make something.

 4.  Plant something. - I think we want a little container garden on the deck and I'd love some flowers for the front stoop.

 5.  Start an monthly email for the blog. - I'm on the fence about this one... because... like no one really wants more email, but I feel like it's a thing a lot of bloggers do. Thoughts?
