It seems like the months just go by so quickly!  Here we are in December with another great Ipsy Glam Bag! If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription in which you receive a cute zipper pouch along with five beauty samples. It costs just $10 a month. 

 

The bag this month was a super cute black satin-like bag with a heart ipsy key chain. It was very spacious and would make a nice pencil case. I feel like having zipper pouches like this is always great for storing the boys' stuff.




Retails for $4.00.
Shade: Marshmallow

I really liked the texture of the balm; it went on very smooth. The color was a little too neutral for me, though I don't like bold lip color, either.  It was more brownish/tan, and I'm not a fan of that for my lips. I'd be interested in trying out a different shade, though, and I'll keep this one around for occasional use.



Retails for $18.95 for a full size (I got a sample).

I really don't ever blow dry my hair, so I haven't tried this. I know that's may be strange, but I usually wash it at night and let it air dry.  Then, I style it in the morning. I will give this a whirl sometime, though.

I tried this out and really like it. It has a very clean, natural scent and made my face feel good. Its size will be perfect for travel! It seems like a great company, too. Their site states, "Paraben Free, pH Balanced. 100% Vegan-Vegetarian, never tested on animals. Cruelty-free since 1963."


Shade: Orchid
Retails for $15.

This product is wonderful. I really like the shade, and the top comes off to be a little applicator for the powder. This will become a daily use item for me.

I really like this mascara. It think it lives up to its description that it is a lengthening, curling,  and volumizing mascara.  I don't know if I'd splurge $20 on it, but I'll enjoy it while I have it.



Overall, this month was a great bag. The value of the items in this bag were well-worth the $10! Everything is a keeper as opposed to some months, there's been an item or two that will just head to the trash.
