Happy Friday the 13th to you! I hope you had a great week. I'm sure looking forward to the weekend! Here are some highlights from the week:

{ONE}

Mother's Day was wonderful. It started off with donuts, a movie made by my boys, and some new yoga pants. We had pizza for lunch. I went to Target solo. We grilled out for supper. We ended the night playing cards with the boys around the kitchen table. It was the perfect day!

Today I'm sharing a little about my new love for Ragu Homestyle sauce and how we're working to make simple traditions for our family around the dinner table.

One thing that somewhat surprised me on the survey at Henry's last yearly check up was the question asking us how many nights a week we eat dinner together as family. It didn't surprise me because it was hard to answer. It surprised me that a six year old might not eat dinner with his or her family every night. I am so grateful that at this stage of our life, we are able to slow down and eat dinner together almost every evening. I know this won't always be the case.

Happy Wednesday! I am switching it up a little bit because 3 years of What I Wore Wednesdays will do that to you! I am going to try out featuring one outfit in detail and then sharing the rest like I have been in flat lay form.  You'll have to let me know what you think.

I'm joining in with some fabulous ladies to be a part of the Picture Perfect Project. Each month I'll be sharing a few photos I've taken with our Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I decided with this challenge to focus on documenting of each of our boys in their element. It might look messy, but I just want these photos to capture the every day life we have. I don't really plan to edit the photos in any way except for possibly cropping them a little.

I usually knock out all of the pictures in one day or one afternoon, but this month, I found different opportunities to document the boys just when I thought they were doing something fun. I've been keeping my camera on the kitchen counter so it's easy to grab, do a quick white balance, and shoot away!

A longer, leaner cardigan is typically known as a boyfriend cardigan. I own quite a few, but this one from Gap is one of my favorites. So much so that after I bought it, I went back for a black one which I shared with you in April. This gray one was also a part of my 20 item in 21 days capsule wardrobe I did in February. There are many reasons I love this cardigan but the main two are that it is comfortable and versatile. Today I'm showing you two ways I have styled it.
