Russ and I had a date night Sunday night. One of his former students was back in town from college, so we took the opportunity to go out to dinner, to Target, and for some froyo!

Months ago, Henry found a ripped $5 bill. We took it to the bank to ask if they would exchange it, but they said you had to mail it to the government. They gave us the address, and we sent it off. Finally this week, Henry got a check in the mail for $5!

For Des Moines Moms Blog, we had a shoot this week showcasing our real mom bods in swimsuits made by a local designer! Doing something like this is nothing I ever thought I would do, but I did it. more professional shots from a photographer will be coming soon!

The weather hasn't been super nice this spring, but last night it was and we got out to hear some live music. The boys ran around wild and free and it was a wonderful night!
