High Five for Friday 1.4 - Winter Break Happenings

I can't believe we're in 2019! We had such a great year and if you want to see some my favorite photos from 2018, head to this roundup post.

I took the Friday after Christmas off, so today I'm sharing SEVEN highlights from the past two weeks!

{ONE}


We started off break with my side of the family. My mom wrapped all the grandkids' gifts in these cute snowmen! They all thought it was really fun!


{TWO}


We spent the next day with Russ's dad's side. This is Russ's grandma with all of her great grandchildren!

{THREE}





We celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas morning as a family. We were asked to light the advent wreath at our church's Christmas Eve service and Henry even did part of the reading. I always do PJs and an ornament for the boys on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning was filled with fun!

{FOUR}


We headed over to Russ's parents to eat lunch on Christmas day and celebrate with them. His parents did a scavenger hunt for the kids which they loved. Russ's sister was also there from Colorado and she spent the rest of her time in Iowa with us. 

{FIVE}




On the 26th all of us went to the movies to see Ralph Breaks the Internet. It's fun now that all of the kids are old enough for the movies!

{SIX}


Henry and his cousin were born just three weeks apart, so we celebrated their birthdays (both in January) a little early over break!

{SEVEN}


We celebrated New Years Eve with the some friends and we all had a blast!
