This week was busy but good! I had something going on pretty much every night! I'm so ready for Friday and the weekend. Here are highlights of our week!

{ONE}


Calvin got his first hair cut last Saturday at Shear Madness in West Des Moines!  I can't wait to tell you more about our experience this week!


{TWO}


I keep finding more pumpkin spice goodies!  This iced coffee brand is my go-to. I always have a carton or two in the fridge for the week. When I saw they had pumpkin spice, I just had to try it. It's pretty good. I was worried it would be too sweet, but it wasn't for me!

{THREE}


Tuesday was National Taco Day. We nixed the dinner I had planned and headed downtown to Fuzzy's Taco Shop. They had $1 tacos! Yum!

{FOUR}


Our local ice cream shoppe closes for the season this weekend, so we had to go one last time. 

{FIVE}

I was going to go visit my dad in the hospital last week, but I came down with a fever last Friday. There's no messing around with Leukemia and being around sick people, so I sadly had to postpone my trip. I'm heading over that way this weekend and I'm so excited to see him and my mom! Also, his treatment is working! Praise the Lord! He still has a long road ahead, but his doctors are giving him two thumbs up for his progress!
