Help for Sticky Situations with Goo Gone Spray Gel

There's a quote from somewhere that defines boys as "noise with dirt on it." With three boys plus my husband in my house, that phrase can't be more true. Messes, grime, stickiness, and all are always present in our house. Sometimes the normal cleaners I have around the house don't cut it, and I need a little more. I've always been a fan of Goo Gone. I remember taking the little bottle to college to get tape residue off my dorm walls. I LOVE that it now comes in a spray gel. It takes its ability to reach those sticky, grimy situations to a whole new level.

Goo Gone is known for its ability to tackle label removal and other sticky residue, but today I wanted to show you a couple other uses for it around the house!

First off, the tub. I got the boys some bath crayons a little while back, and man, those things are not easy to get off! It takes a lot of scrubbing, and honestly after one go with them, I wanted to toss the others we hadn't used because they are a pain to remove!

In addition, Wesley had broken up the crayons and they were smeared all over the bottom of the tub. I decided to give Goo Gone Spray Gel a try on them and I'm thrilled with the results!

I just sprayed the Goo Gone Spray Gel on the bottom of the tub, gave it a moment to do it's job, and the bath crayon wiped right off with a cleaning cloth. It was also awesome for the sides of the tub because the gel clings to the vertical surface!

Another situation we'd been dealing with is the grimy track of our sliding deck doors.

There was a lot of gunk and dirt in the track, but with the spray Goo Gone, I just sprayed the gel onto the track, let it hang out for a minute, and wiped it down with some paper towels! The tracks are now cleaner than ever and the doors slide so much better!

I can already think of so many other places in my house that could use some Goo Gone

Visit the Goo Gone site to check out all the surfaces that are safe to use with their product.

Just make sure you do not use on silk, leather, suede, rubber, faux stainless steel, drywall, unfinished wood surfaces, and unsealed stone.

I picked up my Goo Gone Spray Gel at Target, but it is available at many retailers!
