I just LOVE my little $10 at Target shopping adventure every month, and I also LOVE that this little link up is growing. It is so fun to see how everyone stretches their little budgets! 

I have to report that I'm still loving this sign I picked up last month. Some of y'all have such cute little chalkboards in your house. This one might be as close as I get to one right now. Also, read on for a fun find this month that helps with this cute little sign!

This month my Target vacation took place on Mother's Day! What a great gift of a little peace and quiet as a part of my day. 

As always, I share some highlights of what I didn't get as well as what I got.

So, what did I pass up this time?



This floppy hat is so, so fun. I need to assess my floppy hat situation, especially for our vacation this summer to Mexico. I didn't snag this one, but it's so, so cute!


The dollar spot also had some very pretty infinity scarves that are so springy. I haven't been wearing scarves lately, so I passed these up, but I really should break out some scarves!


These lanterns were adorable! I would totally love one for a little bright decor around the house. I do have a white one that is somewhat similar at home, so seeing these reminded me I should get mine out.


I totallllly love giraffes. This little guy int he craft aisle almost came home with me. He would look so cute on my dresser or desk!


I always make sure to hit up the accessory clearance section. This scarf was marked down to less than $2! Again, I couldn't justify buying a scarf, but what a steal!


The clothing sale racks are always an area I check out. This one was so fun!


It seems like everyone scored this top when Target had a great discount a few weeks ago. It is back to full price (over $20), so obviously over budget. I'm still swooning over it though.

So, what did I buy??


 I have this striped tee in a crew neck and it is one of my favorites, so when I saw it was on sale PLUS an extra 20% off on cartwheel, I just had to get it. It's truly a closet staple. If something happens to the crew neck one, I'll have a back up. Plus sometimes I prefer to wear a v-neck depending on the necklace I want to wear.

I was perusing the office supply section and just stumbled upon these chalkboard pencils. They are what I wrote on the chalkboard I picked up last month with.

I also just couldn't resist another pack of notes. Seriously for a buck? They remind me of a ray of sunshine!




I ended up almost $1 under budget this month, which means I probably could have picked up a pack of gum or another pack of notes, but I'll just store it away as a little forgiveness if I go over a month in the future.

I can't wait to see others' hauls this month!
