I finally took the plunge and bought a utility vest! I know I am so late to the game, but I'm so excited to style it for spring. I've been rounding up ideas of how to style it on Pinterest, and I have so many ideas. It's kind of silly to want to buy new clothes to go with new clothes, but I have a small list of items I want to add to my closet this spring to make some fun outfits with this new vest while incorporating things I already have. I also found a new way to get some extra saving on clothes and more with Groupon Coupons.

So, the vest I purchased was from Gap, but it's sold out, so I linked a similar one from Nordstrom. I would say it's a piece worth investing in because it's so versatile. Target also has a vest right now, too!

1. I hate to admit that I don't own a plain black maxi dress. I love this one from Nordstrom, and I think the vest over it will be a great completer. My black wedges are goners after last summer, and these Teva wedges from 6pm.com look amazingly comfortable and versatile! I think this outfit would make me feel totally put together in minutes!

2. This look totally screams spring to me with some cheerful kicks and distressed denim. I already own pink Converse, but I'm in the market for a cute, but not crazy expensive, pair of distressed crops. I think the ones I linked are so cute and reasonably priced. A basic tee finishes it off with a little sleeve for the chilly spring mornings.

3. I own the Gap khaki crops and a similar pair of Toms chambray sandals. I think a fun coral top would be the perfect finisher and cute under the vest. I LOVE the Lush brand that Nordstrom sells, so I know I would love this top. I think the length of the top matching the length of the vest is a nice touch, too.

I've been a Groupon lover since basically it's start. They always have great local deals, but they've recently launched a site called Groupon Coupons!
