High Five for Friday 4.15 - Date Night, Tubes, and more

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week, and if you didn't, well, cheers to the weekend! Here are some happenings from this past week!

{ONE}





My brothers and their wives came over from Eastern Iowa Saturday night. We got a sitter for our kiddos and headed out on the town. It was so fun! We started at a nice Mexican restaurant in Des Moines called Malo. Next, we went to a barcade called Up Down where we had a skee ball competition and played some fun retro games. Last, we went to Zombie Burger Drink Lab where we got some delicious shakes. It was a great night!


{TWO}


You may have heard me mention Calvin's poor sleep and such over the past few months. A lot of it is due to ear infections, so we went to see an ENT this week and have scheduled for him to get tubes in his ears very soon. None of our other boys needed tubes, so this is new territory for me. I know it's not a huge deal, but it's just something different for us.

{THREE}


I went to yoga at the Y this week. I'm realizing yoga is something I really enjoy. It just forces me to slow down. I hope to make it more of a habit.

{FOUR}


Russ and his students participated in Canstruction at out local mall. This is their creation! He built it on Saturday with the students. We all went to visit it on Monday night. 

{FIVE}
