April Goals

Each month this year, I'm sharing my goals along with a recap of how the previous month's goals. went. Setting monthly goals helps me stay on track and feel a sense of accomplishment.  Posting them here holds me a little more accountable.

March was a great month, and I feel like I did really well with my goals.

1. Finish the Lent She Reads Truth study. - Finished, and I've started another one.

2. Do an in home date night with Russ. - Check! We had an in home s'mores date! It was so fun! I'll blog more about it soon.

3. Read a darn book! - I didn't finish the book, but I'm really into The Girl on the Train, and I plan to finish it soon! Like I feel like I've been staying up too late to read it, but I think I will finish it this week.

4. Make something. - Check! I tried to make a DIY sugar scrub. I wanted it mainly for my lips. I used olive oil, and I'm not sold on how that made it smell, so I'm up for suggestions on how to make it better. Anyone?

5. Get a pedicure. - Check! I want to get back into the routine of getting one monthly since I'll be showing my toes a little more with sandals.

6. Have a phone and computer free 7 am to 7 pm one day over spring break. - So I *almost* did this. I admit I checked my email a couple times on my computer, but I stayed off Facebook, Instagram, etc.

 ---
All in all, I did pretty well, I think!  Here are my goals for April:

1. Reduce my jewelry by half. - I have so much I don't wear. I plan to try to list a little on Poshmark, but some will probably end up at Goodwill.

2. Organize my bathroom drawers and under the sink. - It's a hot mess! I have some ideas for how to better organize it, and of course I could get rid of some things!

3. Attend a yoga class. - I attended one last month. I would really like to go regularly, but I think even going once this month will be better than nothing.

4. Read a book (and finish The Girl on the Train).

5. Fix my jeans. - I have a pair of distressed jeans that ripped up the back. I was totally going to pitch them and buy a new pair, but I think I can salvage them.

What do you think? What are your goals for the month?
