Having three kids, working full time, and being in grad school, Russ and I really don't get out on dates much. I totally know it's a stage, and I hope some day in the future we can get dates out more frequently. When we do go out, I typically gravitate towards pants. I'm not quite sure why, but in the winter at least I prefer leaving the skirt/dress wearing for work.




When New Chic offered a shopping experience, I knew I wanted to add some pretty tops to my closet. I typically stick to cardigans and the occasional button up. When I spotted this blouse on their website, I just knew it would be a classic, pretty piece I would wear a ton, and it would go great with my colored pants collection, especially my burgundy ones! If you've been around here much, you know I love a good colored pant!



I am thrilled with the quality of the blouse, and you really can't beat the price of a little over $10! The lower hem in the back adds a pretty touch, too.  I paired it with my blush tassel necklace for another blush and burgundy look. I wore my trusty black booties for a comfy and cute look perfect for a night out with the mister, though I would totally rock this look at work, too!
