I've come to really love plaid, so when this month's How I Style It theme was decided, I was thrilled! 

When I first snagged this vest on sale, I had so many ideas of how to style it, but the cool weather wasn't here yet. 

When I found this pink plaid button up on ThredUp, I just knew it would go perfectly with the gray. It's a pattern mix for sure that a year ago I probably wouldn't have done, but I love it!

Small herringbone. Bigger plaid. It works in my book. 

I pulled out some fabric button earrings Russ got me a few years back.

And added in my pink Converse.

I think this outfit is a casual fall dream, don't you?
