Unfortunately, we had a former student's parent pass away, so we went up to northeast Iowa to the funeral. The boys hung out with some family friends of ours and got to have some fun in the country! Ann, the hostess, even made a cute welcome board for our family visit!

Henry did a little sewing project this week. He was inspired by a little round animal Wesley had and we talked through how to recreate it! It was fun to see it come to life!

I spent an hour or so in my classroom this week putting things back together! They did some painting and rearranging in my room over the summer. It's still not ready, but it's ready enough that I can probably finish the rest on our work days! (Our first teacher day is NEXT Friday!)

We got to hit up an Iowa Cubs game this week thanks to some free tickets a friend got and couldn't use! We love sitting in the general admission area where there are picnic tables!
