I've really been working on self-care as life gets busy, but sometimes the biggest feat is actually scheduling the appointment. Especially with eye exams, since I wear contacts, I usually wait until I'm on my second to last pair in the box to see if I can find an exam time. So many times I forget to call and cut it close, so when I saw that Target Optical® allowed online booking, I was so excited! Plus, it's Target! I can shop for fall decor AND get my eyes checked in one place? Sign me up!

Booking online was so easy. I just went to the Target Optical® page, typed in my zip code, and found my nearest store.





There was plenty of availability which was great because I needed the exam in the next few days.




I arrived at Target about 15 minutes before my exam, checked in, and filled out the necessary paperwork.
One of my concerns going into the exam was that my monthly contacts weren't lasting the full month. He looked at my eyes with my contacts in and agreed that they weren't doing the job, so we talked about options that might work better for me.
I had been in the same prescription for the past five plus years (I'm near-sighted), but after his exam, the doctor believed I could actually go down to a slightly lower prescription which would allow less strain on my eyes while doing close-up work on the computer.


He gave me a pair of trial ACUVUE OYASYS® lenses to try on and see how my new prescription felt in real life. If you're new to contacts, here are some tips to help you!
I am excited to use ACUVUE OYASYS® lenses because on me they feel comfortable and perfect for my busy lifestyle. With the style I am using, I change them out every two weeks which I can easily remember by just putting a reminder in my phone.
And, after the appointment, I could shop! A new fall wreath for my door? Yes please!
I was totally pleased with my experience at Target Optical® and will be going back again for next year's exam knowing I can easily book it online.
