Monday Russ had to work, so I had the boys. We decided to hit up the zoo for our last day of summer break. It was a great trip and we all had a good time.

Here are a couple of my favorite pictures of the boys this week. Now that we're back to work after summer break our evenings are so precious. The top picture with all the boys in Russ's lap lasted about three seconds. Calvin went straight to the bath after the pasta and meatballs we had in the second picture.

I love being a teacher, and these necklaces I wore on Thursday for my teacher work day were a perfect reminder of why I do what I do. I want to be the good in the world and radiate love and care for my students. This week has been so hectic, but just slowing down and reminding myself of the reasons for the craziness is so important.
