Easy Hawaiian Pizza Quesadillas

Church gets out at 11:15 or later during the school year, and with naps happening at 12:30, we don't have much time to mess around when it comes to lunch. Quesadillas have become a tradition because they're quick, easy, and everybody loves them. I like to mix it up every once in a while and try a different type of quesadilla. Hawaiian pizza is my favorite type of pizza, hands down, so I decided to make it in quesadilla form.

First off, you'll have to decide how many quesadillas you want to make.

Here's the ingredients I used for one. I used a bit more cheese than what is pictured.

Quesadillas are usually all about the cheese. I do a layer of cheese.

Then I put down the other ingredients.

Last I layer on more cheese so it all sticks together. You don't want to do TOO much cheese or it will run our all over the place.

Because we want a quick lunch, I often do two pans at a time.

I finish off by cutting the quesadillas in to wedges. Often times we eat them straight up or with some salsa, but for my pizza quesadilla, I wanted a sauce that would give the pizza sauce flavor but not be runny. I used the Ragu Homestyle Sauce that I shared about in this post and it is just PERFECT. It has a salsa-like consistency to it sits on top of the quesadilla without running everywhere.

Check out the full recipe below and let me know what you think if you try it out!
