Happy Friday! Della at Della Devoted, Katie at Cup of Tea, Tif at Bright on a Budget, and I want to welcome you to High Five for Friday! Each week we share the best parts of the week and hope you'll join us! Remember you can link up your highlights post or up to THREE of your favorite posts from this past week!

{ONE}

I have my planning periods around lunch so sometimes I can pop out and go over to the boys's school. Last Friday I got to be the mystery reader in Henry's class. I gave the teacher 5 clues about me and she told the kids, then they had to try to guess who it was. It was so fun when I popped in the room and Henry said he knew it was me! My clues were: I was born in Iowa, I love make up, I have a cat, I love cotton candy, and I'm a teacher.

Last Saturday was a beautiful fall day and we all got to go to Henry's soccer game. My parents came too. This was Henry's second game this season and the first I'd been to since his first game was during nap time, so I stayed home with Cal. They play on a bigger field than previous years and it's much more enjoyable to watch.

Saturday night Russ and I had a date night. We walked around Target and the mall, and ate dinner at The Hall. It was such a great night. It's amazing how just a few hours away can help us feel refreshed.

At church on Sunday Henry got a new Bible! They give all of the third graders a Bible and then teach them how to navigate it in Sunday School. He was pretty excited. They also had a calligrapher write his name inside.

We got a Pancheros in town. I don't know how far their spread is, but they're like Qdoba or Chipotle. I LOVE their burrito bowls, so this week I made my own for school lunches, and YUM! I found a recipe for cilantro lime rice on Pinterest and it was amazing! It definitely made me want to eat lunch more and filled me up!

How was your week?

We would like to announce that the H54F linkup is expanding to where you can drop links for up to 3 of your posts each week. Of course, you can still drop your link for a Friday 5 post, but we want to make this a platform for our followers to discover a variety of fun new content each week.

Now that we're sharing more posts for the link up, I'll be highlighting three of my favorites that were linked up last week!

Now, it's time to link up your favorite posts of the week!

Deanna's Mandarin Salad looks so yummy!

Lisa's velvet pumpkins and acorns are just too cute!

I just got some wide leg crops, so I appreciated Cheryl's post!
