High Five for Friday 10.14 - Proud Wife, Lost Tooth, and Work Surprises

Happy Friday! I realized I missed my post for the Picture Perfect Project this week. I'm feeling out of the loop, so I don't know if I will skip this month or make up for it next week. We'll see! Here are highlights of our week!

{ONE}

On Monday morning, Russ received the Iowa Technology Education Connection Outstanding Educator Award. He received the award at a conference in Des Moines, so I was able to take the morning off for it. So proud of him and all the work he does with his students.

{TWO}

A thoughtful coworker, brought me flowers this week. Her mom had cancer, too, so she can relate to what we're going through with my dad. I was able to visit my dad this past weekend. His treatments for his Leukemia are still going well and the doctors are giving him two thumbs up. We hope he will continue this progress so he can go home soon.

At school, someone booed me. Such a fun little surprise! Now to pass it on!

{FOUR}

Henry lost his first tooth this week. He had to get it pulled, but he was a champ! He looks so big! The Tooth Fairy Door Hanger I made was put to use!

{FIVE}

I picked up a pumpkin craft for the boys at Target's dollar spot. The boys had fun painting after school one day this week!
