Target Striped Tee Collaboration

When we had our $10 at Target link up this month, it was such a hoot that a couple of us snagged the same tee!  Rachel and I decided to do a little style collaboration, so we're both posting today with one way we're styling the tee! 

I LOVE pattern mixing. I knew that was how I wanted to show this tee styled to you. These floral shorts were an Old Navy purchase from last summer, and they are so versatile. Even though they are navy, I feel like they work with the tee. I really have no reason why I think they work, so just go with it. 

I love showing how the good old utility vest can be styled in the summer months, too. It adds that completer piece layer without a lot of bulk.

I've been crushing on these Target glitter sandals HARD for a long time. I missed out on them last season. I was thrilled to find out they were back again this year, but then I talked myself out of them again. I checked recently and they were gone from Target's site, but I found them on Poshmark. Score!

I wore this outfit on Saturday. I didn't have a ton of plans, but I wanted to get out of my sweats for a bit, so I took a little solo trip to Michaels. One of my goals this month was to make something, so I wanted to see if I could get some inspiration since I still hadn't made anything.  I came out with a bunch of random stuff. As I write this Saturday night I have a few ideas in my head but nothing for sure.

All in all I was super pleased with this outfit. Sometimes I feel like when summer hits, I just fall off the band wagon with clothes because I'm exhausted from the school year. I think adding a few fun touches like a vest, glitter sandals, or a little pattern mixing can mix it up a little and make summer casual fabulous!
