Russ and I went out on a date night the other night to one of his favorite restaurants in Des Moines called Malo. It's fun to get dressed up every once in a while even if it's just for a few hours. I had to laugh because the last two date nights before this I wore the same olive tee with different black and white striped skirts (here and here). I made sure this night was vastly different!
I thought it would be fun to break out my hair extensions again. This time I curled them. Phew, do I have empathy for you long, thick haired girls! It took a while, but it was so worth it! I felt like a super model! I really love the look of longer hair, but I know mine would never grow out this pretty. It's so fun to have the option for longer hair whenever but more manageable hair on a day to day basis.
Can you believe this dress was just $15?! I found it on a sale rack at a boutique when we were visiting KC. It's just such a fun summer dress, and doesn't require many accessories either!
