Every woman needs a little black dress that makes them feel fantastic. A little black dress (LBD) can be worn year-round and today I wanted to show you how to wear it for summer!

When I saw this LBD on Shein, I feel in love. I'm a sucker for scallop detail, and I love the little slit on the neckline, too! This dress is a forgiving shift style which give a nice, smooth silhouette which works for so many body types.
To make a LBD pop for summer, just add cheerful details! I decided to add some fun statement earrings. Aren't the pom poms adorable? I added a colorful clutch and a few bracelets and I was set. I decided not to go with a necklace because I didn't want to overpower the earrings and the dress has a cute neckline on its own.
My sandals are ones that I wear a TON in the summer. I feel like metallic goes with just about everything and they are comfortable and classy at the same time. They come in a variety of colors, too.
Also, to do my hair I used a cute little gadget called the Beachwaver Half Up! It's the easiest little thing to use! I put my hair up and was done with no fuss in a minute! And it's only 5 bucks!
