Floral Dress for a Wedding Guest


I just love weddings! They make me all teary and I love the beauty of it all. The dresses, the flowers, the promises. Today I wanted to share what I wore to a wedding last weekend!

I wanted to treat myself to a cute new dress since I knew we were going to a wedding this summer. I saw this Mud Pie dress online and I just loves it, but I wasn't 100% sure about fit/sizing. I was thrilled to see it in person when I popped in to our local Mainstream Boutique!  I snagged it off the rack, tried it on, and loved it! I LOVE dark backgrounds with floral print, too, so that made this dress a must-have! I think it will also be perfect to take along on our trip to Mexico next month!

I tried to tie together the colors in the dress with my accessories. There's green leaves, so I added my green Kendra Scott. There's pink and white in the flowers, so I added my pretty white and pink bangles and a pink bag. As much as I'd have liked to take a cute little clutch to the wedding, the boys were with us, so I needed a bag that could handle the mom stuff! 

This dress was so comfy yet so pretty. It was just perfect for the wedding when it was over 90 degrees!
