It's hard to believe that August is over. This past weekend fall was in the air, and I have to admit I just love it! Today I'm sharing some of August in numerical form along with my goals!
27
the number of nights Calvin slept all night. We're getting MUCH better sleep around here for the most part though we have had some EARLY mornings.
4
the number of days my kids have been sick since I've been back to school. I'm so thankful for Russ's mom living nearby and being able to cover two of them for us!
18
the number of blog posts I published this month. I've had to slim down a little since school started, but I'm feeling pretty content about it.
4
the number of trips I took to Target. A few more this month than usual, but I will blame back to school on that.
7
the number of hours of sleep I'm averaging a night. I don't know if it's good or bad. I'm sure it depends on who you talk to!
49
the number of pictures I posted to Instagram this month.
1. Get a pedicure and get my eyebrows threaded. - done and done!
2. Try a new recipe. - Yes. We made crock pot taco burrito bowls. Russ has the recipe somewhere, but basically it's chicken, corn, black beans, salsa, garlic, and some spices in the crock pot. Cook it on low, shred the chicken, then serve over rice. It was even good as leftovers!
3. Finish my book plus finish another. - Nope. I finished the Secret Keeper FINALLY, but I didn't read another book.
4. Go to yoga once a week. Do an additional yoga session at home once a week. - This was a total fail. I think I did yoga about two times total this month. I don't know why I'm not motivated to do yoga at home. I am going to do better with fitness this next month.
5. Plan out each week on a paper calendar. - I bombed the first week, but I've done every week since then, and I'm feeling great about it. There's just something about a paper calendar!
September Goals:
1. Read one book.
2. Go to yoga once a week and do some other sort of work out once a week.
3. Make some sort of fall DIY.
4. Sort through all my scarves.
5. Schedule my wisdom teeth removal consultation appointment.
What are your goals for the month?
Linking up with Grit and Grace, Grace and Lace, Shoes to Shiraz, and Garay Treasures.
