A longer, leaner cardigan is typically known as a boyfriend cardigan. I own quite a few, but this one from Gap is one of my favorites. So much so that after I bought it, I went back for a black one which I shared with you in April. This gray one was also a part of my 20 item in 21 days capsule wardrobe I did in February. There are many reasons I love this cardigan but the main two are that it is comfortable and versatile. Today I'm showing you two ways I have styled it.
Cardigan: Gap
Tee: Walmart
Necklace: The Vintage Honey
Jeans: Kohls
Shoes: Toms
This look was perfect for a busy spring Saturday. It wasn't quite warm enough for short sleeves, so the cardigan doubled as a jacket. The cardigan can be a little blah by itself, so I added some pattern with my tee and some interest with my distressed denim. I knew I'd be carrying around Calvin a lot, so I added one of my teething necklaces to entertain him. The cardigan was cozy enough that I could wear our Ergo Baby carrier and feel great.
Cardigan: Gap
Tee: Target
Necklace: DX Mall
Pants: thrifted Loft
Wedges: Toms
This outfit is a perfect picture of something I would totally wear to work. I'd planned to wear this outfit today, but the cardigan got a little messy on Saturday, so it's currently in the wash. I added a little pattern with my pants and a little bling with my necklace. I like that the color of this cardigan seems to go with both brown and black. So versatile.
