I was thrilled when I went to our grocery store to see that they have a store band of the oat squares! They're one of my favorites, but I hate paying so much for the name brand.
Ingredients:
1 box of oat squares
5 squares of almond bark
1 bag of craisins
marshmallows
M&Ms
First, I got out the double boiler and melted down the almond bark. I started with three squares.
I put the cereal and craisins in a pan lined with wax paper (easier clean up!). Then, I drizzled the almond bark over top. I mixed it around and found it needed a little more, so I melted down two more squares.
After that, I let it cool for a minute or two. Then I added a couple handfuls of marshmallows and spread some M&Ms over top. I gave it another good mix, and it was done!
I will say, it was pretty sweet-tasting, in a delicious way of course. You may just not want to eat the whole pan at once.
Hope you enjoy this recipe. Let me know if you give it a whirl, and thanks to Elizabeth for the inspiration!
