A Green Kind of Week: What I Wore Wednesday 5.14

 

Some days an outfit just works, and this day was one of them.  

I got the dress and blazer from Old Navy basically free with rewards and Super Cash. 

They had the dress is gray, black, and this green. I debated, but decided to go with the color, and I'm so glad I did. I still may go back and order another one with our rewards next month if they're still around.

I see everyone and their cute little blazers. I used to own a jean blazer, but got ride of it for some reason. I can't wait to experiment with this one!

Ya know how you feel like you never win anything? Well, A few weeks ago at the City Moms Blog Twitter Party, I won $50 to Pick Your Plum! Lucky me!

They had these tunics on there one day, and I just had to take the opportunity to grab them. I know I could have waited it out and got some cute home decor stuff, but some short sleeved tunics were on my want list for this summer. I got this green one and one in coral; I'm pretty sure I'll wear one or the other once a week. So comfy! They happen to be the same brand as my yellow and navy long-sleeved ones that I love, score!

This was inspired by this pin. It doesn't look as great as I'd hoped. I think the blazer over it like the pin has would have been a nice touch, but I didn't because I didn't want all the layers. Anywho, it was a fair attempt at mixing things up, and all my clothing pieces are thrifted!
