Today he is one.

Wesley came zooming into the world very quickly at 12:16 am a year ago.

 

I remember the labor like it was yesterday.  Everything happening so fast. No time for an epidural. Me freaking out. Russ fainting. It was like the movies.

I feel like this year has gone by in the blink of an eye.  Our tiny little man, who entered the world at 5 pounds 10 ounces, now weighs in at over 20 pounds.

He grins.

Raises his eyebrows.

Waves.

 

Will be walking any day now.  

Says dada.

Feeds himself.

Mr. Independent.
