Hi guys, my name is Samantha and I blog about my kids, family, living on a budget and my goal to be a stay at home mom. You can check it out here. My friend Becky here at bybmg asked me if I would like to do a guest post and of course I was pumped. I was immediately inspired to create something awesome for you.

We are in the process of staging our home for sale since the husband took a new job. He just finished staining our front porch and we needed to give it a pop. A wreath just no longer fits between the doors since we replaced them. We needed a welcome sign and I wanted something easy to change out for the seasons. So, I bring you the mason jar welcome sign.

Hey all! Just a quick outfit post since I'm on vacation this week.

This is an outfit I actually wore a few weeks ago, but I thought it was perfect for sharing this week as we rev up for the Fourth of July! It contains a lot of my favorite things: navy, stripes, polka dots, and a fun necklace!

I'm SO excited to share this DIY with you today.  Pom-Poms have been so in lately, and adding them to bags and accessories has been huge, too. I thought it would be fun to make my own version of a pom-pom clutch with a little twist! If you can cut, measure, and glue, you can do this!

I'm excited to team up with some blogger friends to give you the chance to win some cash! Enter below. Good Luck!

Today I want to share a little device with you that has made a big difference in our home. It's called Circle
As I wrote this post over the week, it's pretty apparent that summer is revolving around a lot of food. I'm not sad about it!  Here are some highlights from the week!

First off, don't forget to enter my Welcome to Toddlerhood giveaway! It ends next week!

We have been just loving up summer (besides potty training, but that's a whole different story...). Being out side has been wonderful! The boys LOVE water balloons but there's no way this mama is filling them up one-by-one. Bunch O Balloons is our favorite! You can now pick them up at Target, too!

There was an image floating around Facebook that made me chuckle. It talked about eating schedules during the school year (breakfast, morning snack, lunch, after school snack, dinner) and then eating schedules in the summer (morning snack, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, what's for lunch, can I have dessert, snack, dinner, snack, and so on...). I feel like we are snack machines around here this summer.

Happy Wednesday! I'm loving summer, and especially loving my new Gap rompers that I wore on Friday and Monday! They're like pajamas, but I can wear them out of the house and look somewhat put together. Just like a dress, they're easy and cozy, but you don't have to worry about the wind blowing your skirt!

Top: Old Navy
Shorts: Old Navy
Sandals: Birkenstock

(I also work a long tassel necklace, but I forgot to add it to the picture - #mombrain)

I'm back with another edition of $10 at Target! I actually shopped for this a while ago, and I almost couldn't find the bag of my purchases because I'd tucked them away in my closet. Don't sweat it though, because I found it!  Like with past months, first I'm sharing what I didn't buy!

These little tumblers are adorable! Like I really need another cup, but they're so darn cute!  I saw somewhere that they were on clearance now, so I may have to go back and snag one!

The curious soul in me always loves seeing posts about what is in people's bags, so today I'm here to pour out my bag to you.
Another full, great week of summer around these parts. Here are some highlights!

Henry has been a busy little athlete. He did a track and field camp last week and has been playing t-ball with the Y on the weekends. It's so fun to see him involved in things. Everything is pretty low-key/non-competitive which I appreciate at his age.

We headed to a nearby berry farm last week to do a little picking. The strawberries were pretty much all gone, but the raspberries were in full force. I wanted to get one last wear out of this fun top from Le Tote before I sent it back. I know this top was so me, but I have done a little too much shopping lately (in preparation for our trip), so I decided to send this back.

Hey All! Hope you're having a great Tuesday!  Today I'm sharing a fun DIY and recipe post which you can find here!

A traditional recipe that brings me right back to growing up is my mom's meatloaf. It's one of those comfort foods that just tastes good and is also easy to make. Today I'm going to share this recipe with you along with an easy DIY to help pretty up and organize around your kitchen sink!

Over the past few years, I've had to figure some things out to calm the crazy and make my life a little less stressful. Today I'm sharing five routines that have helped me stay healthy and just stress a lot less about the day to day things over all.

Happy Friday! We're a almost two weeks into summer and I've already lost track of what day it is. A great problem to have, don't you think?!  We've definitely had our ups and downs. Adjusting from a school year schedule and lots of friends to play with to being around mom and dad and siblings all day is a little frustrating. All-in-all though, we've had a great week! I have a few more pictures than normal - just so many events to capture!

I'm joining in with some fabulous ladies to be a part of the Picture Perfect Project. Each month I'll be sharing a few photos I've taken with our Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I decided with this challenge to focus on documenting of each of our boys in their element. It might look messy, but I just want these photos to capture the every day life we have. I don't really plan to edit the photos in any way except for possibly cropping them a little.

This month I'm just going to let the pictures speak for themselves. We were hanging out front one morning while Russ and the boys were working on a Minecraft-like chest for Henry. Lots of measuring, cutting, hammering and watching were going on. The lighting wasn't the best since it was either super bright or super shaded, but I wanted to capture the moments the best I could nonetheless. Enjoy!

Happy Wednesday! I don't have a full multi-picture outfit post for you today, but I do have one look that is not in flat lay form, so you can actually see my face! Summer is in full swing here and I'm loving it! First off, what I wore for our anniversary dinner.

Necklace: Knot Just Bracelets
Tee: Old Navy
Clutch: Le Tote
Bangles: Blossom Bangles
Wedges: Toms

So, I know I said that I was going to wear this for our anniversary dinner, but Russ surprised me with reservations and I wasn't feeling the hot pink for some reason, so I went a different route. I still wore this fabulous skirt made by Monique. Today's the last day to use my coupon code (BYBMG20) in her shop for 20% off your own custom made skirt. I just love trying out knotting a tee. It adds a little flare, don't ya think?

Here's what I wore the rest of the week in flat lay form:

Going out to eat with kiddos is always an adventure, but going out to eat with a little one who is just getting the hang of this whole eating solo thing and doesn't have a mouth full of teeth yet can be an adventure.

Today I wanted to share what we bring along with us that helps my sanity when we go out to eat with our young toddler. Calvin is 13 months old. He's not officially toddling, but he's not truly a baby anymore. He's not content with mama feeding him, so we have to have lots of goodies to encourage his independence, help him be nourished, and not make a hot mess everywhere in the restaurant. Here are some things I have been keeping in the diaper bag to make life easier when we dine out:

10 years ago today, this guy and I said I do! Happy Anniversary, Russell! I love you!! Tonight we're going out to dinner and later this month we're taking a trip to Mexico!

I've been doing separate In Numbers and Goals posts for the past few months, but I have decided that I'm going to start combining them. So, today you get my first go at it. May in Numbers, a review of May's goals, and setting goals for June!

Today the How I Style It gals are showing our summer wedding guest looks. As I get older, the wedding invites roll in less and less. Most of our friends are married off besides a few cousins. I know there will be another round of weddings once the kids are grown. Nonetheless, I'm excited to share this look with you today even if I don't have a wedding to wear it to!

I admit that when peplums first came into trend, I wasn't all about them, but after trying them out, I'm a little bit more of a fan.
