What I Wore Wednesday

Linking up with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday.

Most days, I'm sleep deprived and in sweats. That's the life of a mom with a 3 week old!  I have gotten dressed a few days to be somewhat presentable, so I'll share those pictures with you. If you've had a baby, you know your body does not bounce back very quickly. Many times it's never the same. Right now, stretchy waistbands are my friends. I pondered if I wanted to document outfits so soon after Wesley was born, but this is real life, friends! You get me in my "fourth trimester" glory. I did store away most of my maternity clothes this past weekend as sort of a motivation for myself. Plus, it's almost summer, so my stretchy skirts will get me a long way.

Here's what I've been wearing.

First Sunday back at church:

Jean Jacket - Kohls
Purple Tee - Old Navy
Gray Skirt - H & M - It has pockets! How great is that?!
Necklace - flea market

Out for a walk:

Sweatshirt - AE (old and actually from the guys' department)
Jeans - Liz Lange Maternity - After I had to keep tugging them up on the walk, I decided maternity clothes needed to be put away. I will probably regret losing some comfort, but I want to get back into shape soon.
Baby Carrier - ErgoBaby Options with a cover from the India set. I wrote in a previous post how much I love this carrier.
Shoes - Nike (3+ years old...really worn out...which prompted me to go buy a new pair on Monday)

Another Sunday Outfit - I forgot to take a picture of me in it, and I was too comfy in my Sunday afternoon sweats to change back.

Tee - Gap
Skirt - Ross - isn't the chevron cute?!
Shoes - Aldo

Monday's outfit - off to the mall to get those new shoes!

Tee - Gap
Skirt - Old Navy
Shoes - Ash Gray Classic Toms
Baby - Mine :)

  1. Such a beautiful lady and your lil' man is adorable! :)

  2. I think you look great! So nice that there are comfy and fashionable choices available right now. :) Your baby is darling and that chevron skirt is really cute. Thanks for sharing!
